It was another glorious day for flag football on Thursday in the MPFL. Jackson Stanley led the hometown Philadelphia Eagles to victory over Bobby Mullen and the San Francisco 49ers 35-21. It was a good, clean game with big plays made on both sides of the ball. Philly’s own Tristan Loder was balling out. He started the game off with a pick-six that he took to the house for the first score of the game, and added a TD run and a TD catch. Philly’s Jackson Stanley had a couple big catches and Max Endriss had a few crucial deflections. Finn Canally and James Lee had huge games for the 49ers. Finn had two TD catches and a TD run. James Lee had a first down catch/run. Players from both teams showed great effort and sportsmanship: (Liam Ambrose, Matthew Lee, Ethan Nienhuis, Jacob Scoble, Jack Krzywicki).
