It was a beautiful day for flag football on Thursday as the MPFL resumed it’s play after what seems like an eternity since their last game. Jack Krzywicki led the Philadelphia Eagles against Bobby Mullen and the San Francisco 49ers. Both teams played their hearts out, but there was nothing to separate them as the game ended in a 28-28 tie. Jack Krzywicki had a huge game with a TD catch and a TD-saving tackle after being involved in a few collisions that would have sidelined most players. James Lee had a big game for the 49ers including earning a tough first down after catching a pass in the middle of the field. Although the game ended in a tie, the 49ers won the celebration after bringing out the bowling celebration after their first score! Players from both teams showed great effort and sportsmanship:(Liam Ambrose, Sam Smith, Matthew Lee, Ethan Nienhuis, Tristan Loder, Max Endriss, Sean Thorell, Nico Pizzichini, Kian Edwards, Jacob Scoble and Jackson Stanley).
